Teachers,
This is the first installment of what you can come to expect each Friday. "The Friday Memo" will include some "Middle School-specific" announcements as well as a look at the next two weeks. If I come across a link or two that I think would interest most of you, that will be included from time to time as well.
Announcements:
1. "Request for PTO Funds" forms will be handled the same as last year (ask a veteran teacher about this if you are new). You may pick up a form in the Business Office, and all requests will be returned to Mr. Neu. Please note that these requests for the first semester are due no later than Friday, August 29. I'll post some further reminders along the way.
2. All teachers are reminded to stop by the Business Office after August 6 to pick up your PTO monetary gift. This gift is provided to assist you with classroom preparation. It might be a good idea to send a thank you note to the PTO for their generosity. Should you decide to write such a note, I'll be happy to get it to the appropriate person for you.
Next Week at a Glance:
Please Note: This is a list of "events of note" for the next couple of weeks. You are not required to attend each of these events. For example, teachers are not required to attend the locker days, etc. This weekly announcement is designed to keep all of us"in the know" with regard to school functions and events. I hope you will find it to be helpful.
